Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

with partner’s sperm or with Donor Sperm

Artificial insemination begins with a soft ovarian stimulation so as to obtain the development of a few follicles in order to avoid multiple pregnancies. Once the follicles have reached the right size, the next step is to introduce the sperm that have previously been processed and concentrated (donor sperm). The procedure is completely painless without need for anaesthesia and it can be done in the consulting room. Insemination can also be performed with the partner’s sperm.
